Sabbath Sunday(No Service)

  • Cross Culture Church 3995 N Lewiston St Aurora, CO, 80011 United States (map)

Hello Church family,

This Sunday, the last Sunday of the year, is our Sabbath Sunday. We’ve established this tradition to give our amazing volunteers a chance to rest. The Sabbath is meant to nourish our souls. We encourage you to engage in the Sabbath frequently beyond Sunday. We do a Sabbath Sunday once a year, as we want to establish a precedent heading into the new year that God must guide our identity, rhythms, and lives. Observing the Sabbath aligns us with that purpose, just like gathering with the Saints does.

I encourage you to take this time to rest, reflect, and seek God’s will for your life in 2025. Gathering with smaller groups is terrific, too.

I suggest you journal, spend quiet time in the Word, and invite spiritual family to enjoy fellowship. Remember, doing flows from being. As children of God, take time to delight in Him alone or with a small group of others. Slow down this Sunday and rest in Him.

I look forward to seeing you on January 5th for our vision message. Gathering Sundays and observing the Sabbath are both essential, and we hope to encourage everyone to participate in these practices regularly.

Always let me know how we can pray for you.

Love you all,

Michael
